Emission Solutions, Inc. (ESI)
“Durability
through innovative design”
Incorporated
in 2003 and located in McKinney, Texas ESI is a heavy-duty dedicated
natural gas engine manufacturer that designs clean air engines for the
short-haul transportation and distribution applications as found in the
Class 5, 6, and 7 on-road service vehicles. We provide a complete solution
that manages the entire vehicle engine and fueling system replacement
process from start to finish. The management
team averages over 28 years in product development, engineering, customer
service and marketing and sales.
Since model year 1999 the ESI Team members have been focused on
developing new technology that will improve air quality while reducing our
dependence on oil. This is evidenced
by our unprecedented engine test results at Southwest Research Institute
(SwRI) that was reviewed by the California Air Resource Board (CARB) and
EPA. Subsequently, ESI was awarded its Executive Order and Certificate of
Conformity, respectively, for MY2006 engine sales beginning IQ2006 and
branded as the ESI Phoenix NG 7.6L heavy-duty engine (Please see News
Release Menu for detail).
ESI’s
value proposition is to make it effortless for the fleet owner to replace
its older diesel engine with the ESI Phoenix NG 7.6L natural gas engine
while offering extended product life-cycle costs comparable to or better
than diesel. ESI offers a cost-effective turn-key solution that manages all
pre-sales to post-sales activities; additionally we will manage call for
funding projects, fueling infrastructure access, financing, out-year cost
justification, project implementation and customer service and training.
Recognized
by CARB and EPA as a new OEM engine manufacturer, ESI re-engineers and
gasifies the core of popular medium to heavy-duty diesel engines as found
in the medium to heavy-duty market space (Class 5, 6, and 7). Our primary target market is replacing
the DT-466™ with the Phoenix NG 7.6L dedicated natural gas engine. Our
unique and patented process retains and improves the desired performance
curves and durability characteristics of the replaced DT 466 ™ family while
achieving lower exhaust emission characteristics: For Example:
SwRI
cell test: (NOx 0.5 g/bhp-hr), (PM
0.009 g/bhp-hr)
CARB
Executive Order/EPA Certificate of Conformity:
(NOx 0.7
g/bhp-hr), (PM 0.01 g/bhp-hr)
Our
manufacturing process employs “Engine Management Technology”, sometimes
known as ‘Best Available Control Technology’ (BACT) that will offer the
fleet owner a dedicated natural gas engine certified significantly below
model year 2009 standards.
